at Salina Massage Therapy!
Holistic Health and Life Coaching guides the client as a “whole” - body, mind/emotion and spirit. As a Coach I will help you identify, measure and enliven areas in your life that have been out of balance in the past. I will teach you concepts and skills to help you make the changes you are seeking in order to feel better and live better.
Coaching Sessions are tailored to meet your specific needs and goals using one or more of the following concepts listed below:
Power of Language and Communication:
Learn how to use the Language Of Healing which will allow rapid changes in the way you relate to yourself and to the world. Learn to speak and listen to others in a way which they are profoundly heard and acknowleged, allowing them the freedom to be themselves. You will develop sensitive communication skills where thoughts are clearly distinct from feelings and body sensations.
Holistic Fitness And Nutrition:
Learn to tune in and listen to your body’s needs both nutritionally and in movement/exercise in order to enhance your health, energy level and personal effectiveness. Learn to recoginize distinctions in the areas of detoxification, exercise, eating, and behavioral patterns. Design a future for yourself which requires you to be fit and healthy.
Movement For Health:
Move more freely learning the Fluid Body Model. Gain awareness of your body as a whole. Explore and access movement as a phenomena in your life.
Disease As A Strategy:
Learn to recognize survival mechanisms that have been necessary to keep you physically safe. When you are afraid, these same mechanisms can also inhibit expressing how you feel, what you need or what you are committed to in life. Embrace the ‘no accidents’ idea so you can understand your own reality and change it. Learn to access healing through changing behaviors rather than labeling something a disease and then having someone else ‘fix it’.
Emotional Let Go:
This is a very delicate tool which requires a safe space, clean, clear communication and use of breathwork. Give yourself permission to trust the process of recognizing, clearing and releasing emotions that, in the past, have stopped you from truly living the life you desire.
Meditation:
De-escalate stress levels through the use of guided imagery, breathwork and movement.
Death, Dying And How To Really Be Alive:
Buddhists say we can live life by dying a little each day. You will learn to experience “ego death” bit by bit as you transform in life and have a deeper understanding that death is a transition. Learn how to BE with someone who is dying or how to cope with the loss of a loved one. Assist you, family members and friends in preparing for your death transition.
